Email Marketing Case Studies

by Zac 24. August 2009 02:57

Hello everyone! Just a quick blog entry to let you know we have updated our case study section, which can be found under the resources tab in the top navigation. There is so much misinformation on the web today, that it makes it difficult to know which company to trust. When I travel I want to read reviews about specific areas and I want a personal account of where to go; and what to avoid. Reviews, case studies and honest accounts from users always help us make a more informed decision.

With this in mind, the team at GraphicMail decided to send out a comprehensive questionnaire to a range of clients across a variety of industries. The case studies section was designed in an effort to convey the many ways in which GraphicMail has helped companies across a variety of industries increase their online exposure. And it provides readers honest reviews from our reputable clients.  Many of our clients went into detail about which functionality they found most useful; and how email marketing increases their overall return on investment. The GraphicMail case studies prove that you don't have to be confined to a specific industry to benefit from an email marketing campaign. Read our case studies to find out how a company within YOUR industry has benefitted from the GraphicMail product.

Thus far, we have case studies in the following industry:

Our Recycle Bin: Trashing and Recovering

by Zac 18. August 2009 21:38

Nobody enjoys digging through trash, but sometimes we throw things away purely by accident. With this in mind, the GraphicMail team came up with the concept of a recycle bin. All deleted mailing lists, HTML newsletters and newsletter folders will be stored in the recycle bin, which will be emptied on Sundays. Make sure you dig through your trash before Sunday!

Target Shoot your Audience

by Zac 18. August 2009 03:59

So you thought GraphicMail was all about bulk email messages? Think again! You can now send your campaigns to a segmented list. Fresh from the GraphicMail lab, our new subscriber segmentation tool allows you to target a segmented group of clients who fit a specific profile. This means you can send to, for example, only divorced women who love fly-fishing and are between 25 and 35 years old. All you have to do is capture the customer data in your subscription form, or send out a survey to get all the nitty-gritty details. However, remember that some people change habits and hobbies like others change panties, so make sure to give your segmented list a spring clean once in a while. Learn how relevancy drives response and the various different ways you can split up your email list to ensure you hit the target more often.

With GraphicMail, segmentation is simple.  You profile subscribers according to various common denominators and group them together (how you profile subscribers is up to you). And, you do this by using our “subscriber segmentation” tool. You can create as many segments as you would like, save each one and also use them across one or more mailing lists. Our application gives you the opportunity to create a highly targeted, effective email advertising campaign which will benefit your email marketing efforts in the long run.

Back to School

by Zac 17. August 2009 01:57

Soon, a seemlessly endless summer will end, and the streets will be packed with yellow school buses. The bells will ring; the lockers will slam; stress levels will rise.
While schools in Miami re-open in a week's time, some others only open their doors in September, giving the kids some more time to play in the heavy mid-August air. And, as your children stagger home from internships, jobs and summer camps, you might just dwell  in childhood memories stacked with fun things that certainly never made it onto your CV.

How fun it used to be when CPM meant how many Cookies you could eat Per Minute, and CPC simply stood for College Puzzle Challenge. Competitve Trail Riding was also far more entertaining than a CTR report in your GraphicMail account. But hey, who said email marketing had to be dull? We've certainly been working hard throughout the summer so you could play with our new tools.

You will soon be able to challenge the Indian Summer with a colorful display of iStock images splashed across your eflyer. And blast out that party invitation via an RSS to email feed - Pow How, Burning Man, Kite festivals, Bigfoot Daze and Elvis Week, it's happening out there... simply Choose The Right template before Latter Day Saint, and if you don't like it, thrash it. We now have an eBin, an electronical bin that gets emptied every Sunday - one argument between married couples solved!

NB: Read more about RSS to email and recycle bin in our August newsletter - out on the online shelves tomorrow, 18 August! Dig into our archive to see what other powerful features we have been adding lately.

A new editor - you didn’t hear it from me…

by Zac 12. August 2009 23:06

There have been quite a few rumors flying around the office that a new editor to design your eflyers, html newsletters and email campaigns is on its way. Actually, I can wholeheartedly confirm these rumors. Yes - it’s all true ! GraphicMail will unveil the new drag and drop editor in the next couple of months.

I took the liberty of taking a quick sneak peek at the current developments. I am impressed with our new product as it boasts a clean, easy to use interface that, quite frankly, leaves you wanting more. The editor looks like fun to use, and most of all it seems really simple. The design and development lab have been working on the editor for quite some time now; tweaking things here and there. The behind-the-scenes features will still be the same and you won't lose any of the current functionality. You’ll still be able to insert personalization, attach PDF’s to your newsletter and benefit from all the current features accessible in the 2008 editor.  The only thing that will really change is the design and usability – for the better!
