Customer demand led the Contact Anywhere team to investigate opportunities to integrate email marketing with the existing services.The key requirement was tight integration with existing features, and to avoid the email capabilities looking like an afterthought or “bolt-on” feature. Initial analysis of a number of such services uncovered Graphic Mail and its unusually rich programming interface. This suggested the goal could become a reality as it is a publically available interface providing comprehensive integration capability. An evaluation of the interface, coupled with excellent support from the Graphic Mail development team confirmed the goal would be achievable.
The GraphicMail email service is now fully integrated in Contact Anywhere providing an excellent value-add feature. All email activities are recorded against individual customers and prospects providing precise intelligence and staged processing. So email marketing is part of the regular process of tele-marketing campaigns and pipeline monitoring. They call it intelligent emarketing.
